Chad Hersh: US PAS Marketplace Overview

Chad Hersh, Principal, Insurance Practice, Novarica recently published a blog post discussing the  state of the US Policy Administration Systems (PAS) Marketplace.  He reviews the key factors that led to the growth of recent PAS Systems replacement projects.  A few highlights from the post include:

  • A ton of innovation in the Property/Casualty Policy Administration System space with carriers adopting new solutions that have matured over the past decade
  • Vendors that keep their solutions truly modernized and refreshed have the potential to survive in this competitive market
  • In the next year or two, we will likely see the Life/Annuities systems market have a stronger recovery
  • The P/C market is in a “steady state” with a strong 2010 flowing into strong pipelines for top vendors through 2011 and 2012
